Electrical renovation is the complete or partial overhaul of the electrical system. This is often the case in aging homes whose electrical equipment is no longer up to standard and unsuitable for needs, potentially endangering people and their homes.
According to the 2024 National Electrical Safety Observatory (ONSE) barometer, 83% of electrical installations over 15 years old have at least one electrical fault. Between 20 and 35% of residential fires are electrically caused.
In an electrical renovation project, one of our electricians will first conduct an electrical diagnosis. This will determine whether the electrical panel, circuit breakers or fuses, outlets, wiring, etc., need to be replaced. During a complete renovation, the entire electrical system, from the panel to the switches, is renovated. In a partial renovation, only the defective components of the electrical system are renovated.
